APOSTILLE & LEGALISATION
Some jurisdictions require an apostille in addition to the document being authenticated by a notary public. The apostille is a certificate confirming a signature and seal of the notary public.
Some countries may also require a consular legalisation of the notarised document. Typically, the notarised document would get the apostille first and then be submitted to an embassy of the country where it will be used. Notary Public may arrange for you the apostille and consular legalisation.
